Position Description:
Lead major donor fund raising for Chestnut Hill area by working with and supporting Capital Campaign team of volunteers, consultants, and advisors in identifying, cultivating and soliciting major donors for the Chestnut Hill Friends New Meetinghouse project featuring a “Skyspace” by James Turrell.
Qualifications:
Compensation: competitive based on experience. 20 hours per week for six month period.

The Mann Center for the Performing Arts is a non-profit (501)(c)(3) organization dedicated to making the arts accessible to our community. The facility consists of covered seating for 5,000, outdoor seating for another 4,500 and a 4,000 person capacity lawn. We present over 40 performances throughout the season which runs from late May through the end of September. Performances range from the Philadelphia Orchestra to pops, jazz, contemporary, dance, opera and Broadway. Each season The Mann brings some of the most prestigious names in the cultural performing arts to Philadelphia’s summer audiences.
The Development Associate will be responsible for providing support in all areas of development including, but not limited to:
• Coordinate all activities within the development office with special attention to providing support for the Director of Individual Giving.
• Process and track all gifts
• Produce and analyze comprehensive weekly development and campaign reports
• Assist in the development and implementation of an upcoming capital campaign.
• Responsible for fulfillment of all individual giving benefits, including the provision of concert tickets, parking passes, invoicing, acknowledgements and all other details
• Maintain and update constituent records
• Manage phones for the Development Office
• Photocopying, filing, faxing and other clerical duties
• Assist all Development efforts as needed
Qualifications:
• Must have extensive data processing and Excel experience.
• Strong attention to detail
• One to three years of experience as part of a successful development office
• Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills and a self-motivated work ethic are a must.
This position is full-time.
